Everything has been considered and included during our fascinating Rovos Rail journeys. Join your Tour Hosts and fellow travellers to enjoy tea in the observation car. Meals are served in the train’s elegant dining car, while your suite – and 24-hour room service – awaits at the end of each night.

DINING IN STYLE
Rovos Rail’s enthusiastic team of chefs take great pride in creating each meal with the freshest of local ingredients. We enjoy afternoon tea each day in the lounge or observation car, while the dining car hosts us for each evening meal, which is complemented by fine South African wines.

PULLMAN SUITES
Pullman Suites are decked out with a comfortable bench seat, which converts into either double or twin beds (side-by-side or upper and lower bunks). An ensuite with shower, toilet and basin is also included. Pullman Suites average 7 metres squared.
Pullman Suite bed size: Double 189cm x 150cm or Split Twin 189cm x 75cm.
Pullman Gold Suite bed size: Double 189cm x 189cm or Side-by-side Twin 189cm x 75cm.
DELUXE SUITES
Rovos Rail’s Deluxe Suites feature either twin or double beds and boast both a sitting area and private ensuite. While on board, you’ll enjoy the train’s original fittings and ambient wood panelling. Deluxe Suites average 10 metres squared.
Deluxe Suite bed size: Double 189cm x 189cm or Split Twin 189cm x 75cm.
ROYAL SUITES
Just four Royal Suites can be found on board the train, with each taking up half a carriage—equating to 16 metres squared of floor space. Each suite features its own private lounge area, as well as an ensuite with Victorian-style bath. Guests have the option of a King Size bed or Twin configuration.
